105 Sjálfstyuioþurftarbúskapur

105 Sjálfstyuioþurftarbúskapur, which translates to Self-Sufficiency, was part of an exhibit for Iceland's 2010 design week, HönnunarMars. Mallory helped create the cover and window display for this exhibit.

For this exhibit, she worked with a local Icelandic paper printing company called Oddi. She developed an alternative eco-friendly laptop case out of corrugated cardboard called Cocoon . The case allows the computer to stand vertically to free up more surface area on a desk.

Með Því a hafa tölvuna upprétta þá myndast meira borð- og vinnupláss.

The Cocoon is designed as an eco-friendly and affortable laptop protection alternative. Constructed out of recycled cardboard, this case is intended to act as both a protective sleeve as well as a vertical stand. The vertical stand allows for storage for one's computer in an upright postition, creating more desk space for the user.
